I haven’t reviewed as much Hotel Chocolat stuff as I would have liked to since I started this site. They have a brilliant array of produce constantly on sale and they’re one of my favourite chocolate businesses anywhere…but whilst I eat plenty of their chocolate, especially the mini-slabs which they make, I normally demolish it without sitting down and writing a review. So REALLY, it’s Hotel Chocolat’s fault for making their chocolates too nice looking. But I just about managed to control myself around these Salted Peanut Creams, so I actually have written a review of them!

After reviewing the Cadbury Crispello on Monday of this week, I’ve got something today which is actually fairly similar in style to review. But unlike the Crispello, which will be (I’m sure) available in just about every shop going in a few weeks time, the Ferrero Duplo is something that I was totally unaware of until I found it and bought it. You’ve probably all gathered, from the strange foreign chocolate I occasionally review, that I like a good peruse of foreign food shops from time to time. And that was exactly how I found this 58p Ferrero Duplo bar.
As with the previous product review from The Grown Up Chocolate Company, I think the initial conclusion you can draw from their products is how classy they look for a ‘fun’ bar. This isn’t just some cheapo wrapper like a lot of the bigger companies use, but a thoughtful and well put together box. Not only that, but it did the job as well- the bar arrived in perfect condition. So, talking of the bar…let’s move onto that.
