Zotter White Chocolate Walnut Brittle

001I bought this quite a while ago as I was eager to try Zotter’s white chocolate. Many of the classier and more high-brow companies don’t offer white chocolate at all and it’s often sneered at in artisan chocolate circles for not actually technically being chocolate as it doesn’t contain any cocoa solids. But Zotter produce this White Chocolate Walnut Brittle, which is good for two reasons; 1) I can try their attempts at a white chocolate and 2) nut brittle is a bit of a personal favourite of mine.

Frey Dark Crunchy Almond:

We’re finally here. I promised you Frey Week and WHAT a week it has been. The laughs we’ve shared; the tears, the rage, the horror and hysteria, the depression, disgust and love. Well, actually it has just been me eating chocolate. But hopefully you’ve enjoyed some of the reviews! The final review this week comes in the form of Frey’s Dark Crunchy Almond bar.

Frey Chocobloc White:

You’re probably starting to know the drill now regarding Frey’s Chocobloc range. It is a series of flavoured bars similar to the Toblerone, and after the Dark, Milk and Orange varieties, I’ve got their white chocolate version to review today on day 4 of Frey Week. I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of Frey Week by the way…I guess time flies when you’re eating chocolate.

Frey Chocobloc Orange

I said last week that this week would be ‘Frey Week’, and here we are! A week of daily Frey reviews, including a variety of flavours, textures and sizes. First up, we’ve got the Chocobloc Orange; a sister product of the Chocobloc Dark reviewed on here last week.  It’s exactly the same concept, but made with milk chocolate and orange instead of plain old dark chocolate.

Lindt Velvety Vanilla Almond

I get the feeling that I’m being a bit slow on these Lindt bars. They were released quite a while ago (in the summer) and some review sites seemed to do them all in the space of a week. I’ve spread them out though, and having done the Sumptuous Orange and Luscious Caramel 4-6 weeks ago, I’m onto the penultimate bar from Lindt’s new Creations range today: The Velvety Vanilla Almond.

Frey Chocobloc Dark:

Another one of the fascinating bars which I was fortunate to receive from Swiss chocolate company Frey- the Frey Chocobloc Dark- is a dark chocolate cousin of (and a significantly smaller version of!) the Chocobloc Milk that I took a look at not so long ago. You’ll remember it- it was the behemoth which put a couple of inches on my biceps just carrying it around. Whilst the flavour concept is the same here with the Chocobloc Dark, this weighed in at a much more normal 100g.

Lindt Cresta

Every time I begin to think I’ve finally reviewed all of the chocolate that I brought back from my summer holiday in Malta, I find another one tucked away in my house somewhere, and off I go again. This time it’s a Lindt bar that popped up from the back of a drawer in my kitchen. This Lindt Cresta bar was a standard 100g, but I’ve never seen another Lindt product packaged like this so I’m not sure if it has a whole load of brother and sister products which are out there somewhere waiting to be found.
